OWLED 2008 Breakout

At the OWLED 2008 breakout session there was considerable interest in adding Description Graphs to OWL. A page has been set up to hold information on this effort.

There was also interest in adding

• quantities and units
• meta ontologies
• aggregation (if this can be done)
• DL rules - there is an ECAI paper on this

There was also interest in adding a

• query language, perhaps something like SPARQL or something like conjunctive queries

to OWL.

Interested parties are encouraged to start wiki pages on these additions or to update existing task force pages if such exist.
